Affiliates FAQ

We offer you the opportunity to earn a commission while promoting our hosting products to your audience and clients!

You are able to sign up for our Affiliate Program at www.Bluehost.com/affiliates and just click “Sign up”! You will be emailed your tracking link and other helpful tips to get started.

Everyone can apply to join our program!

We offer a commission of $65.00 for every qualified hosting purchase! For qualifications, please see our Terms of Service.

We pay all commissions through PayPal Masspay! This allows you to get your payments automatically and quickly, we also pay all fees associated with the payment so you will get the full $65.00 for every sale!

We will need you to email us at Affiliates@Bluehost.com! We will need to be able to confirm your username and the email you would like to change it to. Please be aware we will also need to be able to verify your account, we do this with the last four characters of your affiliate password.

We review and process sales between 45-60 days after the sale is earned! We process the payments between the 16th and last day of the month. For example, if you earned a sale in March, it will be processed between the 16th and 31st of May.

At this time, we only offer a commission for qualified hosting purchases. We do not offer any additional commission for any add-ons or hosting renewals.

We have several different ways we track sales to your Affiliate Account! The primary way of tracking a sale is a cookie drop from your Affiliate link. This will stay on the customer's browser for 90 days unless the customer clears their cache and cookies before then.

You will be able to find your link and banners within your Affiliate Dashboard! Under the menu item “Links”, you will see your affiliate tracking link at the very top of this page, banners will follow the link below.

You are able to promote on all sites you own! We recommend a content-based blog post for the best conversions. If you would like more tips and tricks of our top Affiliates, please reach out to us, and we will be happy to help you grow your account!

If you are unable to log into your account, please try and reset your password which is found underneath the login credentials. If this does not work for you, please reach out to us at Affiliates@Bluehost.com.

We do not advise posting your tracking link directly on social media as it can usually result in a lot of spam clicks which can negatively impact your account.

You can promote Bluehost using AdWords, but you cannot bid on our trademarked terms or use the Bluehost brand name in your keywords or ad description. You need to make sure you are driving traffic to your website where you promote Bluehost! Please see our Terms of Services for additional information.

We require each sale to have new and unique contact and billing information! We recommend that your clients sign up for their own account and then you will be able to help your customer set up their website! At this time, we do not have this as a payment option. We offer PayPal payments for ease and convenience to our Affiliates.

We are a US based company and are required to report to the American IRS to whom we send money for our tax records.

You will be able to see this in your Affiliate Dashboard. Please go to the “Stats” tab and click on the “Payout History” submenu item. This will show you every sale you’ve had since the beginning of your affiliate account. If you would like to see each domain that has signed up under your link, please click on the blue dollar amount; this will open a detailed invoice for you.

When you log into your account, on your dashboard, there will be a yellow banner requesting you to fill out your tax form. Simply click on the hyperlink and answer the questions to the best of your knowledge. We will review your tax form, making sure your tax form and Affiliate Account details match. If they do not, your tax form will not be approved.

We require a one-time $100 minimum (2 sales) before we can process the first commission payment! This will only be on the first payment, any single sale can be processed after this payment has been made.
